He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Grace D'Oench and Dorothy Newton Sharp; his great-grandparent W. R. Grace; his brother Russell "Derry" D'Oench; his sister-in-law Ellen "Puffin" D'Oench; and his nephew Russell "Toby" D'Oench.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Malone D'Oench; his daughters, Sarah D'Oench and Susannah D'Oench (Leonardo Cardoso Salvador); his grandson Benjamin Jenei; his brother Lawrence D'Oench (Nancy May); his nephew Peter D'Oench (Connie); his niece Ellen "Dodie" Ruimerman (Paul); and his niece-in-law Tani Takagi.
