She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Chapman and Rachel Chapman (Pierce). She is survived by: her sons, Antoine Bassette, Jr. (Tara) and Rodney Bassette; her brother Robert Chapman; her niece Beth Van Pelt; and her daughter Erin (Matthew Penney).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Preston City Congregational Church.
