It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annette Pearl Araujo of Prospect, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred LaPlante and Beatrice; her close friend Carl Graves; and her son-in-law Francis Evon Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Giusto Evon and Kenneth Araujo (Sue); her grandchildren, Francis Evon Jr. (Laura), Scott Evon (Lisa), Anne-Marie Sharron (Ken), Brian Evon (Rebecca), Adam Araujo and Jennifer Araujo; and her pet Penny. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the CT National Guard Foundation Education Scholarship Fund.
