He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Ferris; and his daughter Debbie. He is survived by: his children, David (Pam Ferris), Dan Jr. (Bernadette Ferris), Darbi (Tom Robinson), Doug (Jackie Ferris), Diane (Pat McAree), Dennis (Sonja Ferris) and Donna (Adam Boesiger); and his son-in-law Tom Chin. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dan zealously continued sharing his faith with all those who brought supplies and food to their home.
