She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Whelan; and her parents, Maurice Heaphy and Loretta Heaphy (Dunphy). She is survived by: her children, Colleen (Sal) of Cheshire, Connecticut, David (Michelle) of Medfield, Massachusetts and Amy (Mathew Burgess) of Torrington, Connecticut.; her grandchildren, Shaun, Olivia, Sal and Colin; her sisters-in-law, Meg Vance (Paul Vance Sr.) of Middlebury and Kathy Dorosy of Fort Lauderdale; and her nieces and nephews, Paul Vance Jr., Megan Perrone, Patrick Vance, Ted Dorosy, Laurie Johnson and Karin Batchelder. She is also survived by extended family members, and dear friends.
