Gintautas Zemaitaitis Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gintautas Zemaitaitis of Prospect, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gintautas left this world on June 19, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juozas Zemaitaitis and Anele Zemaitaitis (Grajauskas); his wife Irena Zemaitaitis (Deikis); and his siblings, Algimantas Zemaitaitis and Dalia Jasiukonis.
He is survived by: his children, Jonas Zemaitaitis and Ruta Leonard; his son-in-law Gregg; his grandsons, Evan and Erik; his sister Aldona Onalfo; and his siblings-in-law, Carmen, Audrone Zemaitaitis and John Gintaras Deikis (Carol). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Care (1987 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Joseph's Church (46 Congress Ave, Waterbury, CT 06708).
