It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Anthony Scionti of Prospect, Connecticut, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Peter farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Peter is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Joseph and Janis Scionti (Miller); and his son Nicholas Anthony. He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Scionti (Michaela Mc Feely); his stepchildren, Matthew Zeghibe of Waterbury and Amelia "Amy" Zeghibe of Waterbury; his sister Sandra Halverson (Wayne) of Cohasset, MA; and his former wife Teresa Scionti of Prospect.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bridget's Church (175 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (1 Union City Rd, Prospect, CT 06712).
