With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Rosenblatt of Prospect, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on August 1, 2020 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven Rosenblatt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Rosenblatt and Lil Rosenblatt of Naugatuck. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his siblings, Howie Rosenblatt (Julie) of Naugatuck and Sari Rosenblatt (Steve Machuga) of Middletown; his mother-in-law Jean Carlson of Woodstock, CT.; his nieces, Jenn Gampel (Josh), Kim Giddens (Ben), Nora Machuga and Anne Machuga; and also Bonnie Stone (Tom) of Old Saybrook.

“So sorry to hear of Steven’s passing. I knew him in college as a football teammate and friend.We shared a common religious heritage as only 2 Jews on the varsity. I remember fondly sharing a high holy day dinner with Steven when we were invited to a coach’s house to observe the holiday.Regrettably we lost touch over the years but reading about his life and his service and dedication to others made me recall what a kind soul he was.
