He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shippee and Helen Shippee; and his son Andrew. He is survived by: his wife Leatrice; his daughter Jeannette "Sissy"; and his sister Janet. He is also survived by brothers-in-laws, a sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
