With sadness, we share the passing of JoAnn M. Ramonas (Putnam, Connecticut). JoAnn, born on October 6, 1956, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Brown and Beatrice Brown (Rising); and her sister Barbara Borowy of Oxford, MA. She is survived by: her husband John Ramonas; her son Michael McBrien; her grandchild Keara McBrien of Oxford, MA; her sister Donna Opacki (Peter); her nieces, Kerry Borowy and Karyn Borowy; and her grandchildren, Laylah, Logan, Owen and Lily.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gilman Funeral Home (104 Church St, Putnam, CT 06260). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
