With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John S. Karpowicz Jr. (Putnam, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Karpowicz and Ellen Karpowicz (Paul); and his sister Sandra Little. He is survived by: his wife Denise Karpowicz (Cabana); his children, Steve Karpowicz (Shelly) and Leigh DuPont (David); his sister Karen Murphy; and his grandchildren, Chloe and Dylan Karpowicz.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gilman Funeral Home (104 Church St, Putnam, CT 06260). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
