It is with sadness that the passing of John Paul McCormac (Putnam, Connecticut) is shared. John Paul, born on July 12, 1937, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
John Paul will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor John Paul by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though John Paul is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. John Paul’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCormac and Frances McCormac (Stelmack); his wife Dorothy McCormac (Murphy); and his siblings, Patricia Lohneiss, Maureen McMerriman and Paul McCormac.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paige McCormac of Daytona Beach, FL and Nancy McCormac Carr (Daniel) of Mikado, MI; his grandson Nathan Kelly of Ft. Myers, FL; and his sisters, Jane Lopresti (Paul) and Kathleen Espinosa (William). He is also survived by six stepchildren.
