We are sad to announce that, on December 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Robert A. Olson of Putnam, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernt "Ben" Olson and Charlotte Olson (Hepp); and his wife Ursula Olson (Eberley). He is survived by: his children, Anne Olson, Mary Barratt and Robert Olson (Maryann); his grandchildren, Jordan Olson, Mark Barratt, Dawn Barratt, Bridget Olson and Emma Olson; his sister Margaret Fasano; and his nieces and nephews, Lynnanne Nauman, Mark Nauman, Nancy Fasano and Karl Fasano.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (http://www.cff.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org) both causes close to his heart.

“I was saddened to learn that Bob had died. He and I were close work mates at Old Sturbridge Village for many years. He was a very important mentor to me. He and I shared many things and was always someone I learned from. His humor and positive thoughts were his strong points. He was an impressive magician. He shared this in a public setting as well as our kitchen table. He was always enjoyable and he certainly let everyone know this. I hope whereever he is it is a GOOD place. I miss Bob .”
