He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Farner and Chloe Farner (Krise); and his brother Robert G. Farner, Jr. (Barbara Ornce). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Farner (Glass); his sons, Wesley Jay Farner (Kate), Andrew Steven Farner (Christine) and Timothy Glass Farner (Sheena); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Taryn Farner, Jack Bradley Farner, Kaydence Chloe Farner and Sawyer Jay Farner; his siblings, Becky Evans (Farner) of Marble Falls, TX, Susan Keller (Glenn) of Oklahoma City, OK, David Farner (Laura) of Pittsburgh, PA and Melissa Allen (Farner); and his aunt Joan Krise. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home (148 Grove St, Putnam, CT 06260). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Danielson (9 Spring St, Danielson, CT 06239). A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery.
