Betsy S. Tal Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betsy S. Tal of Quaker Hill, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Betsy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Betsy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tal and Hazel Tal (Kent); her husband Jerome Ricks; and her brother Peter Tal. She is survived by: her significant other Paul Eccard of Quaker Hill; her friend Bert Gunn of Chaplin, CT; and her brother Phillip.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home (48 Grand St, Niantic, CT 06357).
