Barbara left this world on November 17, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Steed and Eula Steed (Rampy); her brothers, Bill and Clint Steed; her son-in-law Nick Barton; her husband Charles W. Smith; and her nephew Erik Nilson.
She is survived by: her children, Nora Barton Cascella (Bob) of Ridgefield and Stephen V. R. Goodhue, Jr. of Perth. She is also survived by her granddaughter, 5 grandsons, 5 great granddaughters, 4 great grandsons and many dear friends.
