He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Shofi and Adiba Shofi; his brother Robert Shofi; and his wife Marie Sloat of Harrison, NY.. He is survived by : his sons, John N. Shofi, Jr. (Constance) of Fredericksburg, VA, David Shofi (Leanne) of Ridgefield and Brian Shofi (Ruthie) of Ocean City, MD; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jack, Aislinn, Michael, Mallory, James, Peter and Luke; his stepgrandchildren, Shannon, Ryan and Claire; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Reagan and Reese.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
