He was predeceased by : his mother Sharon Simpson (Haskin); and his brother Jeffrey Simpson. He is survived by : his wife Jennifer Simpson (Schumaker); his father John E. Simpson; his daughter Tessa; his stepmother Sandra Simpson; his brother Mark A. Simpson; his stepbrothers, Kevin and Jeffrey Cowser; and his nieces and nephews, Ross Simpson (Veronica), Shelby Simpson and Jackson Simpson.
