He was predeceased by: his wife Paddy Livaudais of New Orleans; and his parents, Lawrence W. Hoyt, Sr. and Eleanor Baldwin Hoyt. He is survived by: his children, Kristen Hoyt (Russell Morris) of Norwalk, CT, Sara (Kevin Marley) of Blacksburg, VA, Julie (Sid Head) of Sherman, CT and David Hoyt (Dawn) of Denver, CO; his granddaughter Evelyn Morris; his children, Maeve, Fiona Marley, Clare, Alec, Sam Head, Grace and Kate Hoyt; and his sister Anne Hoyt Hepner of Sharon, CT..
