He was predeceased by : his wife Loire Warner Leavitt; and his children, Katherine Loire Leavitt of Ridgefield, Joy Leavitt Meyers (Mark Meyers) of La Grange, IL. and William I. Leavitt (Dana Oshiro) of Lexington. He is survived by : his grandsons, Preston Meyers, Russell Meyers, Cole Oshiro-Leavitt and Clay Oshiro-Leavitt.
