We announce the death of Andrea Putnam of Riverside, Connecticut, born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 21, 2026, at the age of 84. Andrea will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Andrea will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Andrea’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Emerson and Rita Emerson; and her husband John Luther Putnam, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Emerson Putnam of Old Greenwich and Jennifer Putnam Maloney of Fairfield, Connecticut; her son-in-law Mark Maloney; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Putnam Maloney, Tierney O'Neal Maloney, Charles Edward Maloney and Finley Putnam Maloney. She is also survived by her family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Andi's memory to the Greenwich Hospital Foundation or the Greenwich Point Conservancy.
