It is with sadness that the passing of Anne York Wachsman of Riverside, Connecticut is shared. Anne, born on October 14, 1932 in Greenwich, Connecticut, passed away on June 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Anne will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Anne by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Anne is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Anne’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Leopold Wachsman; her parents, Carroll York Belknap and Margaret George Belknap; her brother John Henry "Jack" Belknap; and her grandsons, Jason Arnold and Kristofer Arnold.
She is survived by: her children, Gillian Hollenberg (Henri), Lissa Arnold (Arnie) and Chang Ludaescher. She is also survived by three stepchildren; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
