We announce the death of Rose Bologna Mazon of Riverside, Connecticut, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 98. Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Mazon (Ed) of Riverside; her grandmother Mamayaya; her parents, Pietro Bologna and Maria Bologna; and her siblings, Frank, Michael, Joseph Bologna and Emma Pistininzi.

She is survived by: her aunts, Rose and Rae; her cousin Rose; her daughters, Brenda (Jan Chizinski) of Pearl River, NY, Ann (Fred Conforti) of Great Barrington, MA, Nancy (Charlie Keyes) of Rowayton, CT and Martha Mazon (David Bonas) of San Francisco, CA.; her grandchildren, Tara Chizinski, Olivia Conforti and Ethan Keyes; her sister Edith Montpelier; her stepchildren, Peter, Yvonne and Rose (Ed); her sister-in-law Kathy Bologna; her cousins, Judy, Tom, Kristine, Marcia, Melissa, Loree and Peter; Marcella. She is also survived by grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, care providers and friends.
