Carol Hansen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Hansen of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, who passed away on February 20, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Howard J. Hansen; her parents, Joseph Miastkowski and Edith Miastkowski (Klepps) of Terryville, CT.; her sisters, Joan Pajeski and Jean Quinn; her daughter-in-law Karen Hansen; and her brother-in-law Phil Quinn.

She is survived by: her stepsons, H. Peter Hansen of Fox Lake, IL and Richard Hansen (Cecile) of Newington, CT; her grandsons, Keith Hansen (Carrie) and Clinton Hansen (Dana); her stepgranddaughters, Brenda Hansen and Rebecca Ashihara (Ichiro); her great grandchildren, Madison Avery (Tyler), Austin (Shea), Trevor, McKenna, Tyler (Lucia), Jake, Amelia Hansen, Noby, Koji and Taizo Ashihara; her great great grandchildren, Parker and Keegan Hansen; her sister Viginia; her brother-in-law Marvin Roberts of Cape Cod, MA; her nieces, Sue McWhinnie, Lynn Hartwell-McClain, Shelley and Kristine Pajeski; her nephew Glenn Roberts; and her brother-in-law Paul Pajeski of Terryville. She is also survived by several cousins and close friends.
