He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rufus Swepson and Nettie Swepson (Siler); and his siblings, John Jr., Edward, Rodney, Reginal, Robert, Gerome, Michael and Sharon.
He is survived by: his son George Anthony; the mother of his child Marilyn Martin Swepson; his close friend Janice Beebe; his siblings, Thomas, Elaine, JoAnne, Robyn, Lynett and Kimberly; and his son Nhut Air Base. He is also survived by children and grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
