It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James K Meehan of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, born in Wallingford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Helen; his in-laws, Ann and Ed Coughlin; his brothers-in-law, Edward Coughlin and Joseph W. Cunningham, Jr.; and his aunt Lucy Tosca.
He is survived by : his wife Joan Meehan (Coughlin); his children, James Kevin and Kelly Meehan Williams; his grandchildren, Conor James "Conman" Meehan (Sarah Zelaya), Annie Mary "Annie girl" Williams, Erin Bourke "Eerie" Williams and Ireland Vardy; his great grandchild Ruby Valentina Meehan; his sister-in-law Veda Coughlin Oliva (Nick); and his siblings, Sean (Susan), Peter (Orlando Canlas) and Margaret "Peggy" Meehan (Judy Klein). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
