We announce the death of John Bordiere of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 93. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bordiere and Helen Bordiere; his son James "Jimmy" Bordiere; and his siblings, Richard, Marcus Bordiere, Josephine Milstone and Gladys Sylvia.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carina Morton (Bruce) of Alpharetta, GA, Orlena Bordiere of Rocky Hill and Rosanna Bordiere-Barry (Thomas Barry) of Rocky Hill; his sister Shirley Sansone of New Britain; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Alyson Martin, James Bordiere Jr., Zachary Barry and Jayme "Echo" Morton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Veterans Home and Hospital Chapel (287 West St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Veterans Home and Hospital (287 West St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067). A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Raymond Gates Cemetery (287 West St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
