With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita (Layton) Dailey of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Layton (Smith) and Lee Arthur Layton; her siblings, Gladys, Betty, Jean and Chester; her parents-in-law, William Dailey, Sr. and Dorothy Dailey (Emerick); and her siblings-in-law, Charles, Gerald, Dennis, Duane, Gary, Linda and Judy.
She is survived by: her husband William Paul Dailey, Jr.; her children, William Dailey (Betsy), Thomas Dailey, Michael Dailey (Carol) and Lucinda Stevens (Scott); her grandchildren, Kate Bernard (Pat), Jen Lambert (Paul), Tara Sangster (Rich), Sam Dailey, Madeline and Ally Stevens; her great grandchildren, Clare and Melody; and her sisters-in-law, Penny Noll (Charles) and Ethel Verkey (Jan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
