He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nehemiah Dunn and Ivy Dunn (Dunbar). He is survived by: his wife Blanca Dunn of Sandy Hook; his children, Annette Dunn (Rob Partcelli), Charles Anthony Dunn Jr., Michelle Dunleavy (Doug Dunleavy) and Tracy Bisson (Derek Bisson); his grandchildren, Matthew Partcelli and Logan Dunleavy; and his brothers, Paul Dunn, Donovan Dunn, Richard Dunn and David Dunn.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cornell Memorial (247 White St, Danbury, CT 06810). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Peter Cemetery (71 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury, CT 06810).
