It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Ignatovich of Sandy Hook, Connecticut, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Ignatovich to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vincent and Mary Eleanor Ignatovich; and his uncle Peter Ignatovich. He is survived by: his wife Mary Reitano; his daughter Tanya (Eric Dickervitz); his grandchildren, Niko Dickervitz and Nina Dickervitz; his siblings, Blanche and Tom Barnett; his niece Cheryl (Terry Krueger); his aunt Janet Ignatovich; and his cousins, Hayward Ignatovich and Sandy Hoekenga. He is also survived by several family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mark Church (500 Wigwam Ln, Stratford, CT 06614).
