She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

“Maureen was my healthcare practitioner for almost two decades and I always asked for an appointment with her and not the doctor. She was such a lovely person, so caring and so knowledgable and personable always treating the whole person, taking the time to get to know you and your concerns. One time I brought my young granddaughter with me and maureen asked her if she would like to try one the stethoscope and listen to her heart. It was so heartwarming. She is deeply missed.”
