He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Kelly Carey (Paul), Kirsten FitzGerald (Anthony Perrelli) and Adam FitzGerald (Karin Savitsky FitzGerald); and his grandchildren, Patrick Carey, Jill Carey, Timothy Carey, Liam Gelston, Ryan FitzGerald and Parker FitzGerald.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (46 Church Hill Rd, Newtown, CT 06470). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Resurrection Cemetery (208 S Main St, Newtown, CT 06470).
