With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles J. Meyer Jr. of Seymour, Connecticut, born in Norwalk, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Meyer, Sr. and Catherine Marie Philhower Meyer. He is survived by: his children, Danielle Merritt (Russell) of Seymour and Scott Meyer (Jennifer) of Naugatuck; his sister Judith Shuman; his grandchildren, Dawn Marie Basulevic of Seymour, Eric Parmelee (Julieann), Katie and Emily Meyer of Naugatuck; his great grandchildren, Aliana and Ezra of Seymour; and his nephews, Douglas Shuman and Jeff Shuman.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home (167 Wakelee Ave, Ansonia, CT 06401). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
