Charles Payne Sr. Obituary
Charles Payne Sr. a 91 year old Seymour resident and husband of 70 years to Rosemarie Lucas Payne, passed away May 23. He was born Aug. 22, 1930 in Bridgeport, son of the late George Payne Sr. & Margaret Gantek. He worked as a tool & die maker and machinist for Acme United Co. in Bridgeport. He was a member of The Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia and a member of The Hilltop Hose Fire Co. In addition to his wife, he leaves his son Charles "Chuck" Payne Jr. & wife Linda of Seymour, his daughters Valerie Milkowski and husband John of Ansonia, and Rosemarie Rodriquez of Derby, sisters Margaret Olsen & Barbara Fry of Florida, 10 Grand children and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Michael Payne and siblings Marion Bussolotti, Arnold, Howard, George, Robert, Raymond Payne and Frank Gantek. Memorial services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been privileged with arrangements.
