She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tomko and Anna Tomko (Mako); her husband Stephen Karlak; and her brother John Tomko Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Lauren Karlak Sullivan; her son-in-law Kevin of West Newbury, MA; her son David Karlak (Sean Conner) of Cotati, CA; her grandchildren, Paige (Sullivan) and Connor Sullivan (Melissa Warner) of Medford, MA; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Winslow and Vivian Winslow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite cause - My Sister's Place in Ansonia via supportumbrella.org.
