She was predeceased by : her husband Walter H. Prouty; her parents, John C. Hartmayer and Gertrude Hartmayer (Kiernan); her son Richard Och; and her brother John E. Hartmayer.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Shawn Rinko (Morgan), Michele Mitchell (Robert), Jennifer Tirella (Matthew), Sarah Hilmar (Christian), Emily Dowd (Matthew), Patrick Rapuano (Sarah), Matthew Och (Samantha), Andrew Och (Gina), Christopher Och (Taylor), Jonathan Och, Jason Prouty and Scott Prouty (Jennifer). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
