He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Fata and Rosaria Fata (Magaro); and his son-in-law Michael Luce. He is survived by: his wife Viola Fata (Belmonte); his children, Rosaria Oliphant (Perry) of Seymour, Sonya Luce of Shelton and Peter Fata (Laura) of Woodbridge; his grandchildren, Jacob Oliphant of Seymour, Charlotte of Woodbridge, Juliette of Woodbridge and Genevieve Fata of Woodbridge; his sisters, Angela Perri (Gaetano) of Seymour, Carmelina Cufone (Rocco) of Oxford and Silvana Gianni (Gaetano) of Cromwell; and his siblings' child Zio Franco.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Church/St Nicholas Parish (135 Mountain Rd, Seymour, CT 06483).
