He was predeceased by: his wife Marie "Josie" Corbin (Vaas); and his sister Freida Lavine. He is survived by: his children, Gina Ovesny (Alan) of Shelton and Gregory Corbin of Seymour; his grandchildren, A. J. Ovesny (Tiffany) of Shelton, Jacob and Joshua Corbin; his great grandchild Alan Ovesny III of Shelton; his sisters, Caroline Marino and Mildred Woodford; Kelvin.
