He is survived by: his children, Mary Lisa Poehailos (Peter), Karen Burzin (Jeffrey) and James D. Nickle Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kelly Fusselbaugh (Matthew), Sarah St. Amand (Eric), Amy Burzin, Kaitlyn Burzin, Julia Nickle and Jamison Nickle; and his great grandchildren, Simon Fusselbaugh, Jude Fusselbaugh and Stella St. Amand.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Jenkins-King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Parish (St. Mary's Church) (212 Elizabeth St, Derby, CT 06418).
