He was predeceased by : his parents, William, Sr. Slie and Anne Slie (Yustin). He is survived by : his wife Marcie Slie (Culmo); his daughters, Stefanie Newman (Glenn) of Seymour, Shelby Lorusso (Anthony) of Southington and Haley Addis (Jordan) of Seymour; his brothers, William J. Slie, Jr. of Seymour and Robert Slie (Rosemary) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Lucy, Grace, Reese, Ezra, Cade and Leo; his nieces and nephews, Tina Slie of Seymour, Wendy Carrafiello of Seymour, Krystle Magana, Christopher Culmo, Reyna Culmo, Christopher Conte, Janice Conte, Samantha Applebee, Robert Culmo Jr., Becca Day and Kellen McGraw; and his pet Emma Rose.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home (161 W Church St, Seymour, CT 06483). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
