He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann VanTassel Yannes; and his parents, Peter Yannes and Mary Enama Yannes. He is survived by: his children, John L. Yannes Jr. (Ruthann), Judy Von Ehr (William), Roy Yannes (Patricia), Regina Fitzgerald (Roy), Mary Paben (Gerald) and Michael Yannes (Shannon); and his sister-in-law Annette Christian. He is also survived by grandchildren, 19 adored great grandchildren.
