He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Bernier (Burt); his parents, Napoleon Bernier and Laura Bernier (Bolduc); his son Kevin Bernier; and his siblings, Rowland, Bob, Margaret Bernier, Lillian Smith and Jeanette Collins.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Patafio (John) of Beacon Falls; and his grandchildren, Jessica Walsh, Daniel Walsh and Michelle Bernier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
