She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Arey and Eleanor Arey; her daughter Rebecca Karlak; her granddaughter Madeline Bell; and her parents-in-law, Andrew and Helen Karlak.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Karlak; her children, Naomi Bell (Owen), Matthew (Georgianna), Aaron (Sarah) and Seth (Kerstin); her brother Bruce Arey (Deborah); and her sister-in-law Karen Oko (Fred). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 nieces and one nephew.
