He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhardt Hupprich and Helene Hupprich; and his siblings, Ortwin, Walter Hupprich, Edna King and Elsa Richter.
He is survived by: his wife Irene McGuire; his daughters, Carolyn Griffing (Charles) and Nancy Middendorf (Shawn Teves); his grandchildren, Timothy Griffing, Alison Liberda (Jacek), Derek and Nicole Middendorf; and his great grandchildren, Silvia and Violet Liberda.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
