Rita M. Cashin Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2026, at the age of 94, Rita M. Cashin of Seymour, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rita farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rita is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Darm and Grace Darm (Impresa); her husband Edward F. Cashin; and her siblings, Audrey Bruce and Alan Darm.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward L. (Rose) of Bethany, Michael and Kenneth (Stephanie); and her siblings, Carol Santoro and George Darm (Ann). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
