Robert left this world on June 22, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Emmerson and Dorothy Soutier Emmerson; and his sister Joan Emmerson Loftus. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Loftus Emmerson; his brother Alfred Emmerson of New Haven; and his stepchildren, Dale, William, David, Kathleen Sirko and Kimberly Hallas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Jenkins-King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401).
