She was predeceased by : her parents, Anna Walsh (Crinock) and John Walsh; her husband Donald Bryant Schiffer Sr.; her siblings, Gladys Federowicz, Alice Kepchar, Dorothy Pellitier, Marion Kotenski, Ann Bove, Edward, Harry and John; her brother-in-law James Schiffer; and her pets, Samantha and Homer.
She is survived by : her sons, Donald and James Beardsley Schiffer (Norma); her brother Thomas Walsh; her daughter-in-law Jeanette Schiffer of Shelton; her grandchildren, Amanda (Frank PereiraIII) of Bethel, Paula Schiffer (Manny Guzman) of Bristol, Molly Schiffer of Seymour, Donald III, Christopher and Timothy Schiffer of Shelton; her great grandchildren, Magnolia, Sabrina Pereira of Bethel and Cecelia Schiffer of Bristol; and her brother-in-law David Schiffer (Evelyn) of Southbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A skilled artist, Sally would crochet prayer shawls, blankets, and other items to donate to those in need.
