He was predeceased by : his wife Irene DeGeorge (Michalska); his parents, Joseph DeGeorge of Persia and Freida DeGeorge (Harte) of Germany; and his brothers, Perry, Joseph, Elisha, Fred and Clarence.

He is survived by : his daughters, Rebecca Flaherty of Oxford and Gail Moir (Sheldon) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Stephanie Kulakowski (Derek), Scott Flaherty, Crystal Kirkendol (Troy), Kurt Flaherty (Ashley) and Kevin Flaherty (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Brantley, Brooklynn, Kamryn, Emmelyn, Lucas, Taylor and Connor.

Donations in his memory may be sent to C.A.R.E.S. (Coco's Animal Rescue Efforts of Seymour) 115 Silvermine Rd., Seymour, CT 06483.
