He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Phillips and Elizabeth Phillips (Piltz); his wife Frances Anna "Anne" Sprossel; and his brothers, Royal Phillips, Webster Phillips and Chester Phillips.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Phillips of Wakefield, RI and Debra Phillips of Pine Plains, NY; his grandchildren, David Fletcher (Amber), Peter Faggella (Megan), Daniel Faggella and Shannon Fierro (Frank); and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Leah Fletcher, Charlotte, Joseph Fierro and Hannah Faggella. He is also survived by his loving family and many caregivers.
