He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Baird and Mary Louise Baird (Bean); his son Howard Russell Baird; his grandson Dylan James Conklin; and his siblings, Theodore, Rupert Baird and Dorothy Dallas (Williams).
He is survived by: his wife Anita Barney; his daughters, Sharon Hotchkiss (Steven), Wina Briggs, Melissa Hosier (Don), Natalie Conklin (James Jr.) and Lori Conklin (Larry); and his siblings, Ernest Baird (Gail), Clement Baird (Margaret), Clinton Baird (Amy), Carl Baird (Brenda), Ruby Barney and Mary Tomlinson (Keith). He is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
